Jacksonville Design Build, known as JDB Homes, was formed in August 2007, the vision of 21-year building veteran John Molyneaux. Drawing upon his wealth of experience and his passion for home building, John’s desire is to provide the families of Jacksonville, FL “The Right Design” with new, innovative plans and “The Right Experience” in owning a well-crafted, affordable new home with lasting value, all while serving and supporting the communities in which he builds.
In order to offer "The Right Design," we begin by conducting extensive market research, talking one-on-one with customers about what they want in a new home, what is important to them, and where they want to live.
We’ve made it our mission to provide customers with the ultimate new home buying experience, "The Right Experience." The very foundation and guiding principal of JDB Homes is that "Absolute customer satisfaction is the only option!" LIVING ON THE FIRST COAST
Known as The River City, Jacksonville, Florida is the largest city in the continental United States at 840 square miles and epitomizes true Florida living, offering 20 miles of white sand beaches, 72 golf courses, and 111,600 acres of untouched beauty throughout numerous parks and ecological preserves, including the largest urban park system in the country, the 46,000-acre Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve . Surrounded on both sides by an ever-growing skyline, the gorgeous St. Johns River flows through Jacksonville and continues to be one of Jacksonville's most recognizable icons with long stretches of Riverwalk flanking the South and North banks. The crowning jewel, however, is the Jacksonville Landing, a centerpiece for shopping, fine dining and nightlife located in the heart of the city. Of course we’re also known for our beautiful weather year-round, being one of the few cities that actually experience the four seasons.
For the sports enthusiasts, the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars play Downtown at the Sports Complex, as does the city's minor league baseball team, the Jacksonville Suns. Jacksonville is also host of the infamous TPC (The Players Championship) held annually in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. There are also a variety of museums, including the Ritz Theatre & La Villa Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville and the Museum of Science and History. And taking it all in couldn't be easier with the River taxis constantly on the go, transporting visitors back and forth between the North bank and South bank. If you prefer a more romantic river experience, take a moonlit cruise on one of the old-fashioned paddle wheel riverboats that wind their way along the St. Johns with River Cruises, Inc.

John has been building new homes and fulfilling families’ dreams of new home ownership for over 21 years. Having started as a Framer in college, John ultimately worked his way up to serving as Division President for some of the country’s largest home builders such as KB Home and Pulte Corporation, to name a few. It is John’s passion to put his expertise to work for the families of Jacksonville, offering affordable, newly designed floor plans and the ultimate customer experience, all while supporting the communities in which he builds. John holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Building Construction Management from Michigan State University and attended Pulte University for two years. He has received numerous awards and recognition throughout his career for offering outstanding customer service and satisfaction. John also serves the Jacksonville community through his leadership and participation with organizations such as Habi-Jax and United Way, and is a current Builders Care Board Member and a previous NEFBA Board Member.
Amy
C. Williams
Marketing Manager
Amy has been specializing in Administration, Marketing, and Organization for over 16 years, including 5 years in the construction industry. Prior to joining JDB Homes, Amy served as the Office Manager and Executive Assistant to the Division President at Lennar Homes where she managed the day-to-day operations of a 135-person office. During the four years prior, Amy operated her own business, helping small companies and individuals better organize their workloads, streamline their processes, and improve their marketing plan/materials. She also planned and facilitated conventions throughout the US and facilitated personal development meetings for high-level administrative staff around the State of Florida.
Amy has received several awards throughout her career, including the “Be the Best” award on two separate occasions. She has also been consistently recognized for providing outstanding leadership in her various roles and providing exceptional client service and satisfaction.
